Finally something worthwhile to write about..I'm sure that everyone was DYING to know what I've been anticipating for the last few weeks..:) So..here it is. I got a new job! Yay! On Friday a company called Design Design, Inc. called me and offered me a Graphic Design position. I've officially interviewed with them 3 times, and took a computer test, and the whole process has taken over 5 weeks! Needless to say, I'm relieved.

So..two weeks and I'm done at the damn Advance! So excited! If anyone wants to check out the cool shit I'll be designing...go to www.designdesigninc.com and I'll being working in the "product" department designing gift wrap, gift bags, tags, napkins, plates, and stuff like that. Should be pretty sweet!

Hey all...Just wanted to say...

So...for the most part, I'm perfectly fine with being single. With the exception of certain periods of time, where I feel completely alienated just because I don't have a boyfriend. This weekend happened to be one of those times. My one and only single friend that I can count on at all times, Stacey, had a man in town. It was awful...she insisted that I go out (so I can meet the man), but I was surrounded by couples the entire weekend. Friday we went to the Level...me, Stacey, Abby, Rich, and Josh. Then..we met up with our friends Donny and Marco...who both happen to be single, but were ditching me all night to meet single girls. So, I was basically stuck in this little area with two couples who were making out the entire time. Lots of fun.

I actually opted not to go out on Saturday since I was so grumpy (and hungover), but instead spent time with Bonny. It was actually fun...Mark left in the afternoon, so I did get some alone time with Bonny. She mentioned though that her pastor for her wedding (who we've known our entire lives) told her that he thought she was going to end up an old maid! She's only 28, and getting married in June! What's wrong with people that they assume if someone isn't married at that age, that they'll probably be alone forever! This isn't the first time that someone has said something like that to her, or to me about her. It's such bullshit. AND...at the rate I'm going..I'm going to be unmarried at 40, which means EVERYONE will be saying shit like that about me! It doesn't make sense to me either...should I just marry one of the many annoying guys I've dated just because the norm is to get married at a fairly young age? Aren't you supposed to wait around for Mr. Right? I mean, I don't want to end up divorced 4 times by the time I'm 40. Ugh...I'm so frustrated!

Technology has brought us so many great things....dvd's, cd's, computers, hi-def tv, playstations, ipods, and many, many other miraculous things. Technology has also brought us something even more wonderful than those things....the internet. The internet is such an amazing tool..never again will we have to look at maps for directions, or actually call a movie theatre for ticket times, or book flights through an actual airline. AND..fortunately...we also no longer have to break up with people in person or over the phone. That's right folks..now that we have the internet, we can send break-up emails! How glorious is that?!

Yes, what you're thinking is correct, I had the unfortunate pleasure of getting broken-up with over email. At first, it was a bit embarrassing, until I realized that its honestly just comical. Now...I'm horrible at breaking-up with people (which is why I was still dating this person in the first place), I feel bad, and I basically put it off as long as I possibly can. However, I've never stooped so low as to send an email breaking up with someone. At least I have that..:)

Just wanted to let everyone know that RENT was completely awesome, and that everyone should go see it! And...if you need someone to accompany you, I'll totally see the movie again! :)

I'm SO going to see RENT tomorrow! I can't frickin wait! :)

So last Sunday night, Amber and I went to Pizza Hut in Hastings, because I was starving...and she was nice enough to accompany me, even though she'd already eaten..:) So everytime we're there, we see this guy that works there, and Amber SWEARS that he used to work at Boomtown, when we used to go there. His name is Paul, and the guy from Boomtown's name was Paul...only he used to have a ponytail or something (so he looks a little different). Anyway...I decide that this time when I go to pay, I'm going to ask him if he used to work at Boomtown. So, I go up...pay, and ask him the question, and turns out he is that same guy. We chit chat for a little while, then I walk away, and he says to me, "Have a good night, Robin."

I SO payed with cash, and never introduced myself to him! How weird is that? I was so creeped out when I got back to table, I couldn't even tell Amber until we got out to the car. How does that guy know who I am? We've decided that I know him from somewhere else...but I have no idea where....anyone else know this guy?

I don't mean to brag....but look at this flippin sweet pumpkin I carved tonight!

Ok...so I found the 3 whole pics that I got to take on my camera before the batteries died. Apparently the girls were dancing on the stage and I broke out my camera and took 2 pics before the batteries died, and then fell out. SO...here they are...but I'm not entirely sure I know how to do an lj cut...so let's see if it works...

I keep trying to think of exciting things to write about here, but every time I come up with nothing. No exciting events in my life.

However...I'm getting to frickin pumped for Amber's wedding! I'm so excited for a whole bunch of us to be together partying and having a good time. And, all in celebration of Amber getting married! How frickin cool is that?! Plus..the bachelorette party is going to be awesome! I just can't wait!

So yeah...had dinner with Amber tonight...looked at some hairdo's for her...then met with Tom Stevens (her DJ), picked out some songs, etc. Overall..I think it was a decently productive night. Then, I got to visit Shan and see her in her hot bachelorette party and wedding clothes. I'd definitely say everything is coming together nicely!

The only negative thing about all of this is that I do now have a date to the wedding, but.....it isn't Constantine..:( I know, it's basically horrible, but I'm sure he's just busy, and that we're destined to meet a little later...so I guess I'll just have to wait until then..:) I'm bringing Paul though...a guy that I work with, who's really nice, and really cool, and I'm sure will have a good time, and get along with everyone. So, that should work out fine.

Ok...so..nothing else going on. My dad kept thinking he was hearing someone in our upstairs tonight (before I went to bed), like talking and moving around...so now I'm totally paranoid to be up here. Scary!

My husband was kicked off American Idol tonight!!!!

Granted, I wanted him to go soon, so that he can go back to his band, tour, and I can finally meet, fall in love, and marry him. HOWEVER, it certainly was nice seeing him on TV every night. So, I'm kind-of torn.

Possibly done crying about it now..:)

Hope everyone else can deal with the disappointment as well.

So...it's been awhile. I'm horrible at this livejournal. Nothing really exciting happens in my life. However...I did get hired officially today to do wedding invitations and programs for a girl that I work with at Max & Erma's..which is totally exciting, and the extra money rocks! So..if anyone else knows of anyone that needs some freelance design work done...let me know. I need all the help I can get.

Well, I'm officially on MOSTLY days at the Advance now. All except Wednesdays...still work Noon-9 on Wednesdays. But, I had to switch my schedule around at M&E..so now I have to work Monday nights there. Still better than my old schedule though...Plus, I officially have saturdays off...FOREVER! I'm so excited!

Amber...just wanted to share that I've only tried on my dress once since I got it home. And, only for my mom so she could see if it needed to be altered at all! Aren't you so proud?!

Guess that's all I got for now.

So...Shan, Justin and I are sitting in the Cincinnati airport at the moment. Not as fun as I remember. Mostly just because I'm so frickin tired, and whoever the hell designed seating in this airport was an idiot. Every single chair in here has armrests on both sides, and they don't lift up. Meaning that I'm getting no sleep. Tried the floor, but it was quite uncomfortable, and my carry-on filled with books doesn't necessarily make the best pillow. Still doing all right though....considering that Justin was cool enough to bring his laptop, and apparently the airport has wireless internet. Very cool.

Yes...so...New Brunswick here we come! I can't wait for the beach! And the warm weather!

So, nothing much going on with me. Had a pretty annoying weekend. Worked ALL day saturday, and sunday morning. But, I did go see The Wedding Date with Merribeth Sunday night, and then we got free dinner at BW3's thanks to her dad giving us a gift card. Wouldn't really recommend the movie though...definitely wasn't my favorite.

Oh..happy valentine's day! Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Oh..and thanks Erica for the card! It's so adorable! However...I don't have anything exciting to tell you about my day. My plans consist of watching The Notebook (which my parents bought me for v-day), and then the Bachelorette with my dad. I'm sort-of excited about my lame night though, so its ok.

Well...that's really all I have to share right now. Sorry my life is so not exciting.

So..did anyone watch American Idol tonight? Constantine is so fucking hot. He just is. I can't take it anymore. Erica...please make me an I love Constantine shirt...I will wear it every day. I have to marry him. I'm obsessed. He could sing to me constantly.

Anyway...apparently its on again tomorrow, and since he made it through to the next round, I'll be able to watch my husband on television again tomorrow. Warning though...if anyone else even thinks of ever mentioning to me that they have a little crush on him....don't do it. I'll have a breakdown.

I suck at writing in here.

Update for those of you that don't already know...my dad is home from the hospital. He came home a week ago today. Yesterday he went back to the doctor, and had all of his million staples removed. (I have pics, but they might be too disgusting to show on here...and cause Erica to not view my lj while at school..:)). Anyway, he seems to be doing A LOT better. He's happy, laughing, and joking around again, which is really good to see. He's still in some pain, but other than that..he's recovering nicely. Thanks so much for all of the prayers!

Other than that...my life hasn't been too exciting. I did go bowling this weekend, and apparently I'm an all-star bowler! My first game I bowled a 130. and I passed 100 all 3 games.

Ok...that's all I got for right now.
